New project: Jugal 5 – Baramchi

The team left on Monday morning for Jugal 5 – Baramchi, in the Sindhupalchok district, where they are building toilet facilities as well as shower and washing facilities for the Shree Seti Devi Secondary School with 250 students.

For some time now, we have been trying to bring our two employees Karna Sunuwar and Nabin Tamang to Switzerland for a (sanitary) training course. After another negative decision from the Swiss consulate, the disappointment and incomprehension was really great. This time, however, we will not simply accept it and have lodged an appeal, as we can neither understand nor accept this decision.

As a distraction for this further disappointment, we have started this new project and hope to have a positive decision from the Swiss Embassy for our boys by the time they return, as there is still a huge need for sanitary facilities for schools in the many remote mountain villages of Nepal.

Thanks to you and the great support of Geberit International AG, it is possible to give children in Nepal the opportunity to receive clean sanitary facilities. On behalf of the children and students, as well as our foundation, I would like to thank all those who are helping financially to “make the impossible possible”.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our donors and our main sponsor, Geberit AG.
