A lot has happened in the last months! After our local team has built sanitary facilities for two schools in mountain villages outside Kathmandu in 2022, our Swiss Care Team is on site again – in their luggage two containers filled with sanitary material provided by our partner Geberit Group.
Under the leadership of our new local foundation representative Khemraj Puri in Kathmandu and with the support of the foundation sanitarians Andy Ibach and Pascal Kern, the L’Unique Foundation started literally in the last second (full septic tank without financial possibilities to empty it) with the new construction of sanitary facilities in the “S.S. Academy Kathmandu” school.
With the help of the foundation the septic tank could be emptied, but with the new facilities the waste water was led to the sewerage system with great effort by our team. Within 10 intensive working days 4 toilets, 2 showers, 1 pee trough and the installation of the fresh water tanks on the roof were done!
