Daphu Village project – And now snow is causing us problems too

The previous difficult situation had initially eased – but this week, unfortunately, came what we are all hoping for at Christmas. On Wednesday morning, the white splendor looked beautiful, but of course not at all ideal for our natural stone masonry work. Fortunately, the temperatures rose again on Thursday so that our team was able to continue with the work.

It is a great pleasure to watch our crew as they work with dedication piece by piece. Any bricklayer can testify to how much manual skill is required and how difficult it is to build a natural stone wall. Especially as more and more of this craftsmanship is being lost here.

We now hope that we will not experience any more surprises and that our team will soon be able to hand over the sanitary installations to the anxious pupils for use.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish all friends of the l’Unique Foundation a happy and peaceful Christmas.
We hope for your continued support to make such seemingly impossible projects possible.

Tell your friends about our work in the hope of receiving their support as well so that we can continue to live up to our slogan “Making The Impossible Possible” for children in Nepal.

Thank you to Geberit AG who sponsored an important amount of material to support this project.
