After almost three years of forced pausing due to the pandemic L’Unique Foundation has finally managed to return to Nepal despite the remaining Covid-19 issues and resume work on the “Water for Nepal” projects.
While one goal is to continue building sanitary installations for the Nawa Asha Griha (NAG) – a Home for street children – the team in Kathmandu also has started one of the foundations main goals: teaching plumbing skills to locals in order to create sustainable sanitary installations and assure the continuity of the projects on a local level.
In the coming weeks the “Rock’n’Roll Plumbers” will also start new projects for schools in rural areas while continuing the plumber training on site.
